This guide walks you through every step an accountant needs to complete to register a client in Peppol using Accountable. Follow the instructions below to set up your client's business for Peppol invoicing and e-document exchange.
This article covers how to log in to the expert portal, complete your accountant verification, attach the required documents, and confirm your client's Peppol registration.
Start by logging in to the platform. Once logged in, you have two ways to begin the registration process:
Option 1: Click on the yellow alert to go directly to the Peppol Overview.
Option 2: Click on your name at the top right, then select Settings to access an overview of your client's Peppol registration status.
Click on Peppol Overview to see which of your clients are not yet registered on Peppol. If your client is not registered, click Register next to their name.
Before registering your client, you must complete an accountant verification.
Enter your ITAA number in the field provided.
Click Simply add your documents to this email template to proceed, or send an email to the dedicated address with the required documents attached.
After clicking the link, your email app opens with a pre-filled template. Attach the required documents and send the email to the specified address.
Once the documents are submitted, the Accountable team will review them and approve your request. 🎉
You can now register clients on Peppol. Check all the information carefully before submitting.
Once the registration is complete, your client receives a notification on their home screen in the Accountable app. The notification tells them that you have successfully registered them for Peppol through Accountable. The client can then choose to confirm the registration or unregister themselves.
⚠️ Important reminder!
Please do not forget to attach your documents to the email. Without the documents, we won’t be able to approve the request. In some cases, we may ask for a short video call to verify your identity.
Log in to experts.accountable.eu and use the Peppol Overview to identify unregistered clients.
Complete your accountant verification once by entering your ITAA number and sending the required documents.
After approval, you can register any client on Peppol directly from the expert portal.
Your client receives a notification in Accountable and can confirm or cancel the registration.

They always answer for questions wherever is via direct e-mail or through app. If they can’t answer fully they will forward you to the right place. Documents were always prepared well and ready to send further to government. Everything is intuitive in the app and easy to sort out even for someone completely green in this field.
