Good news: if you pay through our payment platform (Stripe), you can switch frequency directly, no need to cancel first.
If you switch from a yearly to a monthly plan, the amount you overpaid for the remaining period is kept as credit on your Stripe account and will automatically be used for your upcoming payments.
Good to know: the monthly rate is a bit higher than the yearly one (yearly billing saves you around 25%). The amount due immediately when you switch depends on your situation, it can be prorated. The confirmation screen always shows the details before you confirm.
This feature is currently only available via web.accountable.eu, not yet in the mobile app:
Click your profile icon at the bottom left, then "Manage my subscription".
On the next screen, click "Manage my subscription" again.
In the window that opens, choose "Change to another plan" (not "Cancel subscription").
Click "Update subscription".
You'll land on the Stripe portal "Update your subscription": use the Monthly / Yearly toggle at the top, then click "Select" next to the plan you want and then "Continue"
Check the summary (new amount, next charge date, amount due today) and click "Subscribe and pay".
Switching frequency isn't yet possible directly from the mobile app.
If you subscribed through the Google Play Store or the App Store, your subscription isn't managed by Stripe: you'll need to cancel through the relevant store first, then re-subscribe on the website at the frequency you want. Your tax coach is happy to help if needed.

They always answer for questions wherever is via direct e-mail or through app. If they can’t answer fully they will forward you to the right place. Documents were always prepared well and ready to send further to government. Everything is intuitive in the app and easy to sort out even for someone completely green in this field.
