Before that, your client must give you permission once. <b>Only your client can do this.<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e3e7fa80;border-color: #334bfa33\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\ud83d\udca1 <b>Tip:<\/b> send this article to your client. Part 1 is written for them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h1 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_8cef1e4047\">\u2705 Before you start<\/h1>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Your client must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">be based in Belgium and subject to VAT;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">have a <b>Taxes<\/b> or <b>Max<\/b> plan, or a seat you assigned to them;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">have already given you access to their Accountable account.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Only one accountant office can hold this permission at a time.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_c3310a836f\">\ud83d\udc64 Part 1 \u00b7 For the client: give your accountant access<\/h1>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Your accountant must already appear under <b>Accountants<\/b> in <b>Settings &gt; Data access<\/b>. If not, invite them first via <b>Give someone access<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_9d555012d4\">Option 1: from the Taxes page (web)<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Go to <b>Taxes<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">In the banner &#8220;Your VAT deadline is approaching&#8221;, click <b>Give your accountant access<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\ud83d\udcf8 <i>[Screenshot: banner on the Taxes page]<\/i><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_7b128d543b\">Option 2: from Data access (web or mobile app)<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Go to <b>Settings &gt; Data access<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Under <b>Accountants<\/b>, click <b>\u22ee<\/b> next to your accountant.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Click <b>Give access to FPS Finance<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\ud83d\udcf8 <i>[Screenshot: Data access menu, web and mobile]<\/i><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_1a2274aa28\">Then, for both options<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Select your accountant (if you have several).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Not logged in to FPS Finance yet? You are sent to the FPS Finance login page (for example with itsme). Tick the <b>Intervat<\/b> box. Already logged in? You see a green label &#8220;Already logged in to FPS Finance&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Click <b>Give permission<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\ud83d\udcf8 <i>[Screenshot: permission pop-up, web and mobile]<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">\u2705 Done. Your accountant can now submit your VAT return in one click. The permission is valid for one year. You can revoke it at any time in <b>Settings &gt; Data access<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"font-degular\" id=\"h_ab97098fe5\">\ud83e\uddfe Part 2 \u00b7 For the accountant: submit the VAT return<\/h1>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">In your client list, use the <b>Intervat<\/b> filter to see which clients have given you access.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Open the client and go to the <b>Taxes<\/b> tab. A banner confirms that the client has logged in to Intervat for you.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Click the VAT quarter (or <b>Start tax review<\/b> in the banner). Review the detected issues and the VAT boxes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Click <b>Submit to Intervat<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">After submission:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">Your client receives an email that takes them straight to the payment screen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\">You do not receive a confirmation email. Ask your client to give permission again (Part 1).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-inter\">\n<p class=\"no-margin font-inter\"><b>The permission stops<\/b> when your client revokes it, removes your
