And all of that without taking out your smartphone. Ideal on the go, during events or particularly handy on your bike: you decide how to use them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"font-inter text-base leading-relaxed mb-4 first-of-type:mt-0 text-black wp-block-paragraph\">But as always, the same rule applies here: <strong>the purchase of AI glasses is only tax-deductible if there is a clear link with your self-employed activity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"smart-glasses-as-a-business-expense\" class=\"wp-block-heading font-degular scroll-mt-32\">Smart glasses as a business expense <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"font-inter text-base leading-relaxed mb-4 first-of-type:mt-0 text-black wp-block-paragraph\">There are plenty of situations in which the tax authorities may accept AI glasses as a business expense. You then depreciate the <strong>cost excluding VAT<\/strong> over <strong>three years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"font-inter text-base leading-relaxed mb-4 first-of-type:mt-0 text-black wp-block-paragraph\">Do make sure the <strong>invoice is in your company\u2019s name<\/strong> (with your VAT number mentioned) and that you correctly <strong>include the purchase in your VAT return<\/strong>.
