This applies both to membership fees of voluntary associations and to the mandatory contributions to your professional order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"examples-of-deductible-memberships\" class=\"wp-block-heading font-degular scroll-mt-32\">Examples of deductible memberships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list list-disc list-outside ml-0 mb-4 space-y-2\">\n\n<li class=\"font-inter text-base text-black\"><strong>Mandatory orders and institutes<\/strong>: the bar for lawyers, the Order of Architects, the Order of Physicians, the ITAA for accountants and tax advisers, the BIV\/IPI for real estate agents\u2026<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"font-inter text-base text-black\"><strong>Professional associations and sector federations<\/strong>: think of Domus Medica for general practitioners, Embuild in construction, the Horeca federation, the federation for liberal professions, or the trade association of your sector.<\/li>\n\n\n<li class=\"font-inter text-base text-black\"><strong>Entrepreneurs\u2019 organisations<\/strong>: a membership of UNIZO, VOKA, UCM or NSZ is just as much a business expense.<br>\u26a0\ufe0f Careful: these memberships are <strong>voluntary, not mandatory<\/strong>. Such organisations often send starters a payment invitation that looks like an invoice.
